DESCRIPTION

This class will give you tools for reading, studying, and interpreting the Bible in a way that is faithful to what God is saying through it. You will learn how to approach the various writing styles in the Old and New Testaments and gain tools that will help you discern the author's intent from a passage, doing some outside reading/work each week. In the final weeks, you will deliver a short teaching from your passage, in a supportive and encouraging learning environment. By the close of class, you should be more confident in your study and communication of Scripture and experience God's transforming power through it. (This class is full for the Winter 2023 Quarter)
