DESCRIPTION

This class will introduce students to the Bible —God's revelation to mankind concerning who He is and His work of redemption. This class is aimed at those with little exposure to the Bible and will provide an accessible entry point to reading and gaining familiarity with the Bible. Students will become familiar with the books of the Old and New Testament and be comfortable finding passages in the Bible. Students will also understand the basic overall flow of the Bible and be equipped to read it on their own. They will be taught a basic approach to inductive Bible study and be introduced to foundational biblical concepts, such as the origins of the Bible and the trustworthiness of Scripture. Students should leave the course being inspired to study the Scriptures on their own.
