Our Summer Campout is Friday night, June 7 to Saturday afternoon, June 8. Come out and enjoy family-friendly activities and worship outdoors! The campus will be open at 4:30 pm if you want to bring your dinner early to enjoy a picnic on the lawn. This is for the entire church family! You do not have to campout to join us for the Friday night worship and activities. REGISTER

APRIL 20, SATURDAY

What is Witnessing in the Neighborhood? It is an opportunity for our Church to minister to our neighbors. We will go door-to-door saying “Hi” to our neighbors by sharing the gospel and sharing about our Evergreen Church ministries. We want our neighbors to know that God loves them and that Evergreen is here to minister to them. Knowing or speaking Spanish is not required, just a loving heart for our neighbors. Please join us on Saturday, April 20th at 10:30 am.

Interested in church membership at Evergreen? Or want to learn more about who we are as a church? You are invited to Membership Matters on May 18, Saturday from 9:00 am -2:30 pm in the Cafe on our church's campus.

The Pastors will go over our church's statement of faith, church covenant, leadership structure, our church's history, and other important issues about our church. It'll be a useful time for attendees to interact with the material and ask questions to our pastors.

Attending does not obligate you to join, but it is the first official step in the membership process for those who want to join.

We will be sharing the gospel with our neighbors and sharing about our Evergreen Church ministries including our Spanish Language Worship Service. We are changing our meeting time to 10:30. Please meet at Church at 10:30 am for a brief orientation and to break into visitation teams. Spanish is not required, just a loving heart for our neighbors. Old Testament Overview II
Ever wondered what is in the Old Testament? This class will help you understand more of the Old Testament, with emphasis on the message of the Prophets, as God used them to call his people to repentance, and to provide hope in himself and in his unwavering goodness and sovereignty. Taught by Keith Fukuyama.

Doctrine II
Want to grow in your understanding of what the Bible teaches on foundational doctrines? Doctrine II provides a great summary of the biblical doctrines of sin, the Holy Spirit, redemption in Christ, and the church. All are welcome, and attending Doctrine I is not a requirement. Taught by Dave Casebeer.

Discipling Others
At EBCSGV, we would love everyone to commit to building intentional relationships that encourage Christlikeness. But what does that mean? And how is that achieved? And where do we start? In Discipling Others, we examine what it means for us as individuals to do spiritual good towards one other for the sake of Christ. Taught by Jeremy Yong, Ron Miyake and others.

Jerry Mar, a retired general contractor with 42 years of experience, will present “What Seniors Should Know about Hiring a Contractor.” He will share lessons on how to avoid the pitfalls of hiring a contractor with suggestions on how to look for contractors, how to structure a contract and how to work effectively with the contractor to achieve a successful outcome of your project.

Our next Witnessing in the Neighborhood (WIN) will be February 24th, from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. We will be visiting our community neighbors to share the gospel and share about our Evergreen Church ministries including our Spanish Language Worship Service. Knowing or speaking Spanish is not required. You just need a heart of love for our neighbors. Please meet us in front of the sanctuary at 10:30 as we spread the gospel to our neighbors. Questions? We are excited to announce our First Golf Tournament of 2024! It will be held at Arcadia Par 3 Golf Course on Saturday, March 23. For all ages and skill levels. Please check in by 9:00 am. The first tee time will be at 10:00 am. We will have sign-ups available online and in person soon. It will be a Scramble format with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. We will be having a putting contest for all ages. Lunch will be included. Register by March 11, Monday.
