We are living in a time where it seems that everything around us is in a state of disarray. Institutions that we once trusted like the government, the educational system, and the Church are torn asunder, and it seems like there is no hope of any kind of relief; but this is not so for Christians.  

The Apostle Paul, in one of his most profound epistles, gives the Christian both hope and peace. The Book of Ephesians tells us of the grandeur, experiential, and richness, of knowing and following Christ. The first part of the epistle is doctrinal, telling us, how the Lord knew each one of us before we even existed, and how He watches over us throughout our life here on earth. The second half is practical, teaching us how to live under the Lordship of Christ, and giving us peace in knowing that following Christ's example, will guide us through the trepidations of this life.

My prayer for this class, is that people will come away from it, with a bed-rock understanding that God is in control of history, and that He is active in the life of every true believer, from the time they are born until they meet the Lord.
