Thank you, Evergreen congregation, for your generosity that helped us put together almost 100 backpacks. We provided an Ice Cream Sundae event at Equa Apartments and gave away about 35 backpacks. We left another 35 backpacks with Equa Apartments for those families who couldn’t attend. For the Elms Manor, we provided popsicles and gave away about 20 backpacks. The best outcome from both events was getting to know our neighbors and letting them see God’s love in action. Words cannot express the joy on the faces of the children blessed by our 2023 Backpack Expedition. So here are some pictures from the events.
